Staticsitcs of procedures performed in the Clinic

Each year The Cardiovascular Disease Interventional Treatment Center performs 8000-10000 diagnostic or treatment procedures and hospitalizes 2500-3000 patients. The Center has 4 fully-equiped cathlabs, 16 ward beds, including 8 intensive care stations, working 24 hours a day.

Since 1999 The Center has been putting into a practice Małopolska's programme of an "acute chest" - an interventional treatment of acute coronary syndromes.

Each year The Center organizes and conducts many national and international research programmes about new types of drugs, devices and treatment methods. The New Frontiers in Interventional Cardiology congress, atracting many specialists around the world, is one of the most important scientific events in Middle-eastern Europe's interventional cardiology.
